La Silla de Daniela
La Silla de Daniela is a contemporary dance collective created in 2015 by performing artists Roja Mendoza, Regina Ortiz, Silvia Mohedano, Alexandra Occelli and Miguel Ramírez.
The collective emerged from the search for spaces to create, inhabit, and share. Since then, they have taken the movement beyond the theater, exploring ways to bring dance to different territories, disciplines, and audiences, and generating processes that strengthen the artistic community.
They have performed in various venues in Morelos and throughout Mexico. They have participated in various national and international festivals such as: Entijuanarte, the Acapulco Contemporary Art Festival, Jolgorios in Guerrero, Mujeres en Escena Festival in Mexico City, Somos Diversidad Festival, Morelos International Festival, Tierra de
Meeting, Star Day, among others.
Mission
To create, inhabit, and share performing experiences through movement, expanding the boundaries of the traditional forum. We seek to bring dance closer to different disciplines, audiences, and contexts, generating creative processes that strengthen the connection between art, community, and territory. We are committed to constant exploration, social sensitivity, and artistic community as fundamental pillars of our work.

Guests
At La Silla de Daniela, we believe in creation as a collective act. Therefore, in each project, we invite dancers to join us not only as performers, but also as creative voices that enrich the work. We are interested in building processes open to dialogue, where each body contributes its experience, sensitivity, and perspective.
Throughout these works, they have accompanied us, that is why we want to name them
